SOUTH YORKSHIRE STOP THE BNP LAUNCHED

The democratic campaign by and for communities to solve real problems and oppose BNP lies.

Yorkshire now has a BNP MEP, Andrew Brons.

He is an ex-leader of the National Front’s fascist thugs and with his colleagues denies the Holocaust, admires Hitler and despises non-whites. As fascists have always done, the BNP hates people who do not conform to their weird fantasy of Britain: women, gay people, minority groups and trade unions.

Lots of working class people voted for the BNP or did not vote at all. We think this is because most politicians are not representing the interests of our communities and their policies show this. But inviting the BNP into our areas so that they can hijack our concerns and spread violence and hatred will not fill the gap left by rich middle class politicians. In London they have been incompetent in Barking Council and in one vote, even opposed the building of more Council Housing.

The BNP talks about real problems but they offer false answers that blame the people we live alongside, and not the people with power and the purse-strings.

There is much that can unite working class white people with immigrants and their descendants, like using the same public services, working and living together in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham or Doncaster. When young people do not have things to do, schools are being closed or housing is allowed to deteriorate – the problems are the same for all of us.

So we need united communities that work together to improve the services, jobs, housing and facilities for our areas.
